30-Day BodyRock Challenge...Let's Go!!!

 
Now that I've lost the weight, it's time for me to tone up. The last two months I have solely focused on getting my eating in check by paying HUGE attention to the nutritional value in the foods I have been eating as well as doing cardio exercises 5 days a week. To tell you the truth, my new eating and exercising habits have now become the way of life for me. Once you see results it becomes a big encouragement and keeps you wanting more.

With nearly 20lbs lost in two months, I am now ready to get my body toned up! I want to start this journey with the http://www.bodyrock.tv crew. Have you heard of CharlieJames1975 on YouTube??? Yea, that's her crew so you know this is going to be one intense month. *Sheesh!*

Well on with the photos! As you can see this is how my body looks as of now. I don't see my abs being too difficult to tone up but I am curious to see just how toned they will be at the end of the 30 days.

Now as far as my thighs...*sigh* Good Lawd. I have never shown anyone my legs in over 5 years so you Home Skillets are super loved...I'm just saying! For a long time now I have been struggling with cellulite and the lack of any type of thigh muscle...it's pretty sad. No matter what I do, I cannot get my legs to act right and it's beyond frustrating..GRrRRrr!!!  >_<


The enemy (cellulite) will attack you no matter how skinny or thick you are, how old or young you are...if you are a women be careful! And don't be fooled by the genetics talk either. It's all about finding what works for your body and I really do hope I found something that works. :::crosses fingers:::

Anyhoo, cheers to intense workouts...pray for me ya'll. LOL!

  2. You're doing great so far!!! Yes, I'm definitely a fan of the BodyRockers. Their stuff really works. I recently joined CrossFit because I need the competition for fitness. I'm sure you know this..and it truly sucks, but cellulite is only replaced by muscle. Things that can help it...remove dairy and decrease salt. Much success on your weight loss journey!!!

    1. Oh yes, BodyRockers are no joke. I just did my first day and Im dead...lol! Thank you so much for the tips. Dairy is no prob for me since Im Vegan. Doing the right exercises will def do the trick. Ive just been doing it wrong in the past I guess...haha.

  5. I use to do BodyRock Videos but their workouts are beyond intense. But if you are interested in cardio pilates (no equipment needed) you could check out Blogilates or BlogilatesTV on Youtube. Also I find TiffanyRotheWorkouts on Youtube to me more friendly to beginners or intermediate.

  6. wow this is rite on time ^.^ i am in the middle of getting the diet part down of my healthy life style, and I am starting to see results, so lately I've been trying to figure out how I'm going to take on the active part lol, so to say of my healthy life style journey ^.^ and this definitely looks like something i would love to give a try ^.^ thanx so much for sharing your weight loss journey and, we are rooting 4 ya!!

  7. Ok... after getting on the scale today I'm with you too!!! I'm so pumped and I can't use sweating out my perm as an excuse...LOL

    I've increased my water big time since my hair was just thirsty. I also have completing a 5K on my bucket list. Spring Break is in 1 month so this is even more motivation. :D

    You are AMAZING! There are so many who can gain confidence from your weight loss! The cellulite is a condition that is easily altered with exercise. Build the muscle tone and that will burn the fat replacing the cellulite! Stay focused. Find a workout routine that works for you!

  10. I'm looking forward to your tips on reducing your cellulite!!!! I've battled this beast for over 10 years and no matter how much weight I lose, or gain, I have never conquered this beast. I've joined Planet Fitness so I hope their free personal trainer will get me out of this crazy bodysuit, lol.

  11. Great Job V, you're a beautiful person inside and out. I hope you accomplish your goal. I'm a Bodyrocker fan, but have not completed a workout in about 9 months (pregnancy). Yesterday I visited the site to discover the original bodyrocker (Zuzana) is no longer there, so I was a little disappointed. Anyway if your interested I looked her up and found she's back on youtube as ZuzkaLight. GOOD LUCK.
